One of these things is not like the others,
One of these things just doesn’t belong,
Can you tell which thing is not like the others
By the time I finish my song?

-Sesame Street

As I was writing my piece last week on Redesigning the Medication experience, I was browsing pharmacy websites and noticed one key difference between the these 3 sites. No it’s not the fact that one pharmacy is going to stop selling cigarettes, or the fact that I can buy nail polish or nasal spray at one, vs. heart supplements and photographs at another. It’s not even the clean modern design of one, compared with the clutter of the other two. It’s one simple thing:

There’s a phone number visible on every sized screen of Pillpack.

Half screen view

It’s really quite revolutionary. Now that’s good service design. ☺

I have no financial or personal affiliations with Pillpack or any of its investors. I am just seduced by the power of design thinking and healthcare service design! I post about healthcare and design on Medium (https://medium.com/@joyclee) and you can also find me tweeting about #design #mhealth and #dataviz on Twitter: @joyclee, as I continue on my #designthinking #adventure!
